BNY Trust Company of Canada Appoints Caroline Cruickshank as Senior Sales Representative for Eastern Canada

NEW YORK, November 10, 2010 — BNY Trust Company of Canada, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BNY Mellon, announced that Caroline Cruickshank has been appointed senior sales representative for Eastern Canada, a newly created role. Based in Toronto, Cruickshank will focus on increasing the company's sales coverage throughout the Ontario, Quebec and Maritime provinces as part of the company's efforts to capitalize on new opportunities presented by the recent acquisition of CIBC Mellon's corporate trust business in Canada. Cruickshank reports to Erin Courcey, managing director and head of sales for Canada and Latin America at BNY Mellon Corporate Trust.

Cruickshank was most recently a vice president within BNY Mellon Corporate Trust in London, responsible for the business development of products and services that support insurance and reinsurance-sector clients throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before joining BNY Mellon in 2000, she worked for a number of large financial institutions, including HSBC Global Investor Services, Credit Suisse, Chase Manhattan and Scotiabank.
