BNY Mellon Shareowner Services Appoints Lennie Kaufman Manager of Transfer Agent Services in the Central U.S.

JERSEY CITY, N.J., May 27, 2010 — BNY Mellon Shareowner Services, the equity administration business of BNY Mellon, today announced the appointment of Lennie Kaufman as manager of transfer agent services in the central United States.  

Formerly with Wells Fargo, Kaufman will manage and grow BNY Mellon's transfer agent services business in a 17-state region.  Based in Minneapolis, he will manage staff in Chicago, Dallas and St. Louis.

Kaufman has 25 years of financial services experience, including heading up the transfer agency business at Wells Fargo/Northwestern National Bank of Minnesota.  He has served as board member and president of the Midwest Securities Transfer Association, and board member, vice president, and Executive Committee member with the Securities Transfer Association.  Kaufman holds BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Minnesota.
