BNY Mellon Assisting Food Banks Nationally During Holiday Season

NEW YORK, November 24, 2009 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in asset management and securities servicing, is providing nearly $400,000 in funding to more than a dozen food banks and food distribution centers across the country during the current holiday season.

With food pantries throughout the country reporting declining supplies and contributions, our company decided to lend a helping hand in many of the U.S. communities where we work and live," said R. In the U.S., facilities that will receive contributions are located in Boston; Chicago; Hillside, NJ; Houston; Los Angeles; New York City; Orlando; Pittsburgh; San Francisco; Syracuse, NY; and Utica, NY.
