Corporate Support Helps Phipps Conservatory's Exterior Gardens Blossom

PITTSBURGH, September 9, 2009 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in asset management and securities servicing, is partnering with the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens to beautify the Exterior Gardens of Pittsburgh's landmark Lord and Burnham Conservatory, which will welcome the G-20 Heads of State to their two-day conference on Thursday, September 24. As the location of the Pittsburgh Summit's three opening events, BNY Mellon's support for the 116-year old cultural gem will be used to prepare and upgrade the dramatic front entrance, the Aquatics Garden that adjoins the East Wing of the Conservatory, the Outdoor Garden abutting the West Wing and the Japanese Courtyard Garden.
