LONDON, 30 January 2008 — BNY Mellon Wealth Management, a global leader in private wealth and family office solutions, has announced the appointment of Rupert Phelps to its Family Office Services division.

Based in London, Phelps joins as Director of Family Office Business Development, and will report to Jim McEleney, Managing Director of BNY Mellon Family Office Services in London. Phelps will be responsible for developing relationships with family offices and their advisors in the UK and EMEA region. He comes from UBS Global Asset Management, and previous experience includes acting as a director in a private family office and various other senior positions in the wealth management and private client areas.
