Marshall & Ilsley Reappoints BNY Mellon Asset Servicing as Global Custodian

NEW YORK, August 21, 2007 — BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, the global leader in asset servicing, has been re-appointed by Marshall & Ilsley Corporation as global custodian for its trust and outsourcing clients, which have more than $1 billion in assets. The reappointment follows a competitive bidding process and extends a relationship that began in 2002. Additional services BNY Mellon Asset Servicing will provide are accounting, foreign exchange, cash management and U.S. physical processing services.
