First Family of ETFs for Currency Markets

NEW YORK, June 5, 2008 — BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, the global leader in securities servicing, has been selected to provide Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) services including fund accounting, fund administration, global custody and transfer agency services for the WisdomTree Dreyfus family of currency ETFs, the first actively managed ETFs to offer exposure to foreign currencies.

WisdomTree Investments and The Dreyfus Corporation, one of the investment boutiques within BNY Mellon Asset Management, have collaborated to launch several ETFs, with WisdomTree as the fund sponsor. Mellon Capital Management, also an investment boutique within BNY Mellon Asset Management, is acting as the sub-advisor for the currency ETFs.

"The merger of The Bank of New York and Mellon Financial has resulted in a stronger partner with more services and greater opportunities to expand our product offerings," said Bruce Lavine, president of WisdomTree. "The services that we are receiving have surpassed our expectations."

"Our broad experience in global markets and the strength of our collaborative partnership were the key reasons for our selection by WisdomTree," said Joseph Keenan, managing director and head of relationship management and sales for BNY Mellon U.S. Asset Services. "Providing services for new and innovative ETFs has become a core business for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing, and we are delighted to play an integral role in the expansion of the rapidly evolving ETF marketplace."

The five currency ETFs are the Wisdom Tree Dreyfus Chinese Yuan Fund (NYSE: CYB), the WisdomTree Dreyfus Indian Rupee Fund (NYSE: ICN), the Wisdom Tree Dreyfus Brazilian Real Fund (NYSE: BZF), the WisdomTree Dreyfus Japanese Yen Fund (NYSE: JYF) and the WisdomTree Dreyfus Euro Fund (NYSE: EU).

The ETFs seek to earn current income reflective of money market rates available to foreign investors in the specified country or region. The funds also seek to provide exposure to changes in the value of a designated non-U.S. currency relative to the U.S. dollar.

WisdomTree Investments, Inc. has developed the first family of fundamentally weighted indexes and ETFs. The WisdomTree Indexes cover all major market capitalizations, both domestically and internationally. In contrast to capitalization-weighted indexes, the WisdomTree Indexes anchor the initial weights of individual stocks to a measure of fundamental value. The company believes its approach provides investors with a viable alternative to market cap-weighted indexes. WisdomTree Trust is a Delaware statutory trust registered as an open-end investment company with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
