NEW YORK, October 9, 2007 — The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of 24 cents per share on the outstanding shares of the Company's common stock. The dividend is payable on November 2, 2007, to holders of record as of the close of business on October 24, 2007.
