NEW YORK, September 20, 2007 — The Bank of New York Mellon, a global leader in asset management and securities servicing, has been selected as successor depositary by Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. (Televisa) for its depositary receipt (DR) program.

Televisa's DRs trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol "TV." The company's shares trade as Ordinary Participation Certificates, or CPOs, on Mexico's stock exchange, the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV). Each Televisa DR represents five CPOs. Televisa's equity securities have been listed on the BMV since 1991 and its DRs have been listed on the NYSE since 1993.

Grupo Televisa is a holding company based in Mexico and is a major participant in the international entertainment business. It has interests in television production and broadcasting, production of pay television networks, international distribution of television programming, direct-to-home satellite services, publishing and publishing distribution, cable television, radio production and broadcasting, professional sports and live entertainment, feature film production and distribution, and the operation of a horizontal Internet portal. Grupo Televisa also owns an unconsolidated equity stake in La Sexta, a free-to-air television venture in Spain.
