    BMO Harris Bank Names Chris McDaid New Commercial Banking Market Executive, Atlanta

    ATLANTA, GA. Oct. 23 2018 – BMO Harris Bank announced today that it has named Chris McDaid as Commercial Banking Market Executive, Atlanta. In the role, McDaid will be accountable for business development and overseeing BMO’s Diversified Industries group in the Greater Atlanta Area.

     

    “We have ambitious plans to grow our commercial banking business throughout the Greater Atlanta Area, and Chris’ experience and local market knowledge will be critical in helping us meet our objectives,” said Ray Whitacre, Head of U.S. Diversified Industries, BMO Harris Bank.  “We’re accelerating the growth of our commercial operations throughout the country, locally delivering the full breadth of BMO’s wide range of industry and product expertise to our customers, and we’re very optimistic about the economic prospects in the area.”

     

    “Business owners in Atlanta are optimistic – they’re investing in their businesses and they’re positioning themselves for further growth – and I plan on growing our team significantly over the next year as we grow our business to meet the expected demand,” added McDaid.

     

    McDaid, who has a BA in both Economics and History from the University of Florida, brings over 14 years of wholesale banking experience to the role. In his most recent role, he was a regional executive in Atlanta, running a team focused on mid-market commercial lending throughout the region.  He takes over a commercial banking team that has grown extensively over the past year, a direct reflection of the strength of the local economy in Atlanta.
