    BMO EMPLOYEES HELP SPREAD KINDNESS

    BMO EMPLOYEES HELP SPREAD KINDNESS
Tucson Employees Work Together for Annual Volunteer Day

Tucson, AZ (June 6, 2013) – Sixty financial professionals throughout metro Tucson took time away from the office recently to help spread a little cheer. Employees from BMO Harris Bank and BMO Private Bank, both a part of BMO Financial Group, put on their artist's hat for the day as they helped create "Ben's Bells."

Begun in 2002 as a way for a Tucson family to begin the healing process of the unexpected loss of a young child, Ben's Bells symbolize kindness and its power in healing. They are distributed randomly and are designed with the hope that they will touch others' lives and help to make the community a gentler place to live.

"We are committed to supporting our community through the giving of our employees' time and talents as well as our corporate financial resources," said BMO Harris Bank Arizona President Steve Johnson. "Each year our employees look forward to the day we set aside t o help others."

Launched in 2001, BMO Volunteer Day has grown to include approximately 5,600 employees participating in more than 470 projects in communities across the U.S. and Canada, including activities to benefit children and youth organizations, elder care, food banks, community housing, health care facilities, family resource centers, parks and recreational facilities, military personnel, relief organizations and homeless shelters.

"Volunteer Day is just another demonstration of our corporate philanthropy and the generous work our employees perform year-round in our communities," added Johnson.
