    BMO HARRIS BANK BEEFS UP LOCAL LENDING TEAM
    Mayer, Brigg and Dawson bring local market knowledge

    LEAWOOD, KS (May 7, 2013) – BMO Harris Bank is showing the market that it’s “game on” as they continue to make inroads calling on local businesses with the hiring of three Kansas City veteran commercial and business lenders. Matt Mayer, Dan Brigg and Aaron Dawson were recently brought on board to help grow the commercial business in and around Kansas City.

    “Bringing these three experienced lenders on board will enable us to greatly expand our sales efforts as we competitively compete for business,” said Dave Rambo, Vice President and Director, BMO Harris Bank. “Because decisions are made locally, and there is local access to capital, we needed to have more feet on the ground. I’m very excited these guys have joined the bank.”

    Matt Mayer, Vice President, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager, brings more than eight years of industry experience to the position. In addition to the knowledge he brings working with several types of industries, Mayer will also focus on M&A activity and leveraged finance opportunities. The optimal size of business he will concentrate on are those companies with $25 million and more in annual sales.

    The Business Banking group hired two Kansas City area bankers to serve clients with lending needs from one to 10 million dollars. Dan Brigg joins the team as Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager. He has 14 years of industry experience. Aaron Dawson, Vice President, Relationship Manager, brings 10 years of experience to his position. Brigg and Daw son will focus their efforts in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, food service and professional services. Brigg will also specialize in working with Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).
