Youth and families learn going green makes money sense

"We've been involved with Chicago's Money Smart Week since its inception ten years ago and continue to encourage financial education throughout the communities we serve," said Judy Rice, Senior Vice President, Community Affairs & Economic Development, BMO Harris Bank.

Visitors will view green technologies and learn the economic impact of environmentally friendly choices. Visitors will also learn about food waste as well as green food production and distribution in an interactive activity book. Hundreds of students in Museum field trip programs and over 2,000 students in the Museum's Science Clubs will create their own green business plans in a mini-business competition during Money Smart Week. Youth will consider which technologies and strategies are most cost-effective as part of the 4 th Annual Go Green Business Plan Challenge!
