BMO HARRIS BANK CELEBRATES THE NEXT GENERATION OF CONTEMPORARY SPANISH CHOREOGRAPHERS
Sponsors Luna Negra Dance Theater's"Made in Spain"

CHICAGO (March 7, 2013) – BMO Harris Bank announced today their sponsorship of Luna Negra Dance Theater's "Made in Spain," its 2013 spring program featuring work by two contemporary Spanish choreographers: guest artist Fernando Hernando Magadan and Luna Negra company member Mónica Cervantes. Luna Negra presents "Made in Spain" in one performance only at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph Drive, Saturday, March 9 at 8 pm.

"Our ongoing support of Luna Negra Dance Theater is an important investment in the Latino community, and part of our continued support to the arts and culture in Chicago," said Dave Casper, Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Banking, BMO Harris Bank, and Executive Sponsor of the bank's Latino Alliance Affinity Group. "Luna Negra Dance Theater is Chicago's only contemporary dance company devoted to the Latino choreographic voice and an important part of the city's cultural fabric."

Since its inception in 1999, Luna Negra Dance Theater has established itself as a significant and vital component of Chicago's arts and cultural community. Founded by Cuban-born dancer and choreographer Eduardo Vilaro, Luna Negra celebrates the richness and diversity of Latino culture through the creation of works by contemporary Latino choreographers and through intensive, hands-on education programs that encourage discovery and exploration of personal and community identity.

"Luna Negra Dance Theater is grateful to BMO Harris Bank for its ongoing support of the company and its Latino choreographers," said Esther Jeles, Executive Director, Luna Negra Theater. "Since 2008, BMO has been committed to supporting new works commissioned, presented, and performed, by Luna Negra.  With excitement we look forward to their continued support and are thrilled to have BMO Harris Bank as an Evening Partner for our upcoming show, Made In Spain."

Now under the leadership of award-winning Artistic Director Sansano, Luna Negra has risen to the forefront of American contemporary dance and is comprised of nine full company members.

Tickets for "Made in Spain" range from $25 to $65 and are available at the Harris Theater Box Office, by phone at 312-334-7777 or online at www.harristheaterchicago.org.
