BMO Harris Bank Named 'Best Place to Work' for LGBT Equality for Fourth
    Consecutive Year

Achieves perfect score through Human Rights Campaign's 2013 Corporate
    Equality Index Awards

CHICAGO, November 14, 2012 - BMO Harris Bank today announced it has been recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality" for the fourth consecutive year by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2013 Corporate Equality Index, achieving a perfect 100 percent score. This index is the primary method for businesses to assess and evaluate their policies, practices and diversity efforts involving lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.

"Achieving a perfect score for the fourth year in a row demonstrates to our employees, and our communities, that the inclusive environment we create at BMO Harris Bank benefits every aspect of our business," said Brad Chapin, EVP - Personal Banking, BMO Harris Bank, and Executive Sponsor of the bank's Lion's Pride LGBT affinity group. "Earning the distinction of being a 'Best Place to Work' for LGBT Equality is truly a testament to our mission to provide outstanding diversity efforts in the workplace, and in that we take great pride."

Businesses are evaluated each year on non-discrimination policies, benefits, diversity training, internal resources provided to LGBT workers and outside support of the LGBT community.

Over the past 11 years, the CEI has become the gold standard for corporate policies and practices related to LGBT employees and their families. As part of BMO Harris Bank's long valued practice of recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce, the bank offers several employee affinity groups, including Lion's Pride, which provides a supportive forum for LGBT employees, offers cultural and educational opportunities and gives back to our communities through volunteerism and business development.
