    Exhibit features iconic images of the West

    INDIANAPOLIS (November 5, 2012) – BMO Private Bank is sponsoring National Geographic: Greatest Photographs of the American West at the Eiteljorg Museum through February 10, 2013. The exhibit features the best images of the West published by National Geographic over its 125-year history and includes works by nearly 80 photographers including Ansel Adams, Edward S. Curtis, and Annie Griffiths.

    "Eiteljorg once again proves their value to Indianapolis by securing an exhibit that chronicles the unique American culture of the West in a wide range of breathtaking and thought provoking images," said Chad Cassinelli, Senior Vice President, Managing Director, BMO Private Bank. "The National Geographic is reknowned for elegantly capturing the world around us, and this exhibit does not disappoint."

    The Eiteljorg is one of 10 museums across the country that has opened simultaneous displays of images by National Geographic photographers that capture the spirit and majesty of the American West. While the exhibit is housed at the Eiteljorg, the museum will also host a photography seminar and a "How the West Won You" photo contest.
