    Seasoned Lender to Lead M&I's KC Mortgage Team

    LEAWOOD, KS (August 29, 2012) – Kansas City area mortgage veteran Robert Vejar has been hired by M&I, a part of BMO Financial Group, as Mortgage Market Manager for the Kansas City market. Vejar brings 15 years of industry experience to the position.

    As a member of the M&I Kansas City senior leadership team, Vejar is responsible for all residential mortgage lending activities throughout the greater Kansas City market. He and his team will work closely with realtors, builders and business partners to find the right mortgage solution for their clients.

    Vejar's first priority is to expand the Kansas City mortgage lending team. He is actively looking to hire mortgage loan originators, and has plans to hire additional talent throughout the next several months. His goal is to build a team that will be able to provide additional lending support and more expert guidance to support all Kansas City branch locations by the middle of next year.

    For the past 12 years, Vejar served as a regional sales manager for Home Lending Solutions, a division of M&I Bank.
