    M&I Raises Funds for Friends of Kids with Cancer
    $25,000 Gift to Support Cardiology

    ST. LOUIS, March 27, 2012 – M&I, a part of BMO Financial Group, recently raised $14,067.91 for Friends of Kids with Cancer. The funds were raised by employees, customers and community members who donated to this important cause at an M&I branch in the St. Louis area during the month of February. M&I has raised nearly $75,000 over the past 6 years for the organization.

    "Friends of Kids with Cancer does important work helping the kids in our community when they need it mos t which is why we have been supporting them for several years and why our employees rally around them" said Kim Weishaupt, senior vice president, M&I, a part of BMO Financial Group.

    "I enjoy visiting all the M&I branches during February and am amazed at their creative displays of hearts and ways of raising money. They all truly give from their hearts," said Judy Ciapciak, Executive Director of Friends of Kids with Cancer. "It is these types of relationships that allow us to provide important services to these special kids and their families in St. Louis."

    Friends of Kids with Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for cancer and blood related diseases. Their mission is to be an advocate for these special kids and provide them and their families with the recreational, educational, and emotional support needed throughout the long hours of chemotherapy, illness and isolation.
