    Harris Names Marie Reynolds Regional President
    Company veteran to lead Harris' operations in Southern Metro Chicago

    CHICAGO, Jan 31, 2011  – Harris today announced Marie Reynolds as its new Regional President in the South region of the Chicago Metro area. Reynolds' responsibilities include managing, developing, and executing retail banking strategies and services at 14 branches and will be based out of Harris' Evergreen Park branch located at 9950 S. Kedzie. She will report to Mike Lewis, Central District Executive, Harris.

    An 11-year Harris veteran, Reynolds most recently served as Central District Sales Manager, collaborating with local and regional leadership to drive results with targeted sales strategies. Following Harris' acquisition of AMCORE in April 2010, Reynolds played a crucial role in the integration of AMCORE's Chicagoland region while leading sales strategy activities and improving customer retention.

    Reynolds joined Harris' parent company, BMO Financial Group, in 1999 as a Team Leader in the company's Institute for Learning, an internal educational center designed to drive change and enhance performance. She began her career in marketing and training services and went on to start her own business, serving as principal and owner of a training services company that focused on sales, sales management, and referral training.

    "With a strong background in coaching and training, as well as a track record of success in exceeding performance goals, Marie is well prepared to foster a collaborative environment that enables her team to take the region to new levels of success," said Lewis.

    Reynolds earned her bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She and her family reside in Chicago's Kenwood neighborhood.
