    Harris Bank Expands Institutional Market Government Banking Team
    Newest members Mark Mitrovich, Katie Aeschliman focused on Cook County and Indiana

    CHICAGO, August 25, 2010 –Harris is pleased to announce that Mark Mitrovich and Katie Aeschliman have joined the Institutional Market Government Banking team in the role of Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager. The team, which is led by John Mattern, is focused specifically on serving the needs of large-scale government entities, and the hiring of Mark and Katie represents the next stage in Harris' commitment to serving these clients.

    The Institutional Market Government Banking team is primarily focused on larger government clients within Harris' branch network – Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. Mitrovich will be based in Chicago and focused on Cook County, and Aeschliman will be based in Indianapolis and focused on the state of Indiana. The team also has six other offices. Four are in Illinois (in Chicago's South Suburbs, Barrington, Hinsdale and Naperville), one is in Milwaukee and one is in Northwest Indiana.

    About Mark Mitrovich
    Mark Mitrovich spent the last 10 years in the City Treasurer's Office in the role of Deputy City Treasurer. He has a 30 year career of distinguished public service, working in a variety of capacities for the City of Chicago. Previous roles also include Deputy Comptroller in the Department of Finance and Assistant Commissioner in the Department of Water.

    Mark earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Loyola University, and his MBA in Finance from Illinois Institute of Technology. He has served as Board Member and Treasurer of the Chicago Municipal Employees Credit Union.

    About Katie Aeschliman
    Katie Aeschliman has held senior roles in both the public and private sector. Her most recent role was at KeyBank in Indianapolis, where as Vice President and Relationship Manager, Indiana Public Sector, she focused on business development with tax-exempt clients across all areas of commercial banking, as well as capital markets. Prior to that, she worked for several years in the City of Indianapolis in both the Office of Corporation Counsel and the City Controller's Office. She also worked for the Indianapolis Local Public Improvement Bond Bank as Senior Project Manager and Chief Financial Officer.

    Katie earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University, as well as an MBA in Finance from the University of Indianapolis. She has served on the Board of Directors of Indiana Women in Public Finance.
