    Harris Nesbitt Hires Equity Research Analyst to Healthcare Team

    NEW YORK, May 1, 2006 – Harris Nesbitt, the U.S. investment and corporate banking arm of BMO Financial Group (NYSE, TSX: BMO), today announced the hiring of Robert Hazlett to its Equity Research team as a managing director and senior research analyst covering Large Capitalization and Specialty Pharmaceuticals for its Healthcare Team. Hazlett will be based in the firm's New York office.

    Hazlett joins Harris Nesbitt from SunTrust Robinson Humphrey where he was a managing director and senior research analyst covering Large Capitalization and Specialty Pharmaceuticals. Previously Hazlett was a pharmaceuticals analyst at both Robertson Stephens and Lehman Brothers, where he began his research career as an associate. Prior to his research career, Hazlett held positions in financial services including fixed income portfolio management at Bank of New York and U.S. Trust.

    Hazlett earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Columbia University's School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University.
