GREELEY, Colo. (July 8, 2019) – Banner Health will host Walk for Hearts Saturday, Aug. 17 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at Sanborn Park in Greeley to celebrate people living with heart disease.

Participants will have the opportunity to talk with Banner Health cardiologists and enjoy a variety of booths with information about the latest in heart disease management.

“Attendees are able to see new technology to treat various cardiac diseases, and they can speak with physicians and staff from the CardioVascular Institute at North Colorado Medical Center,” said Kari Holman, director of cardiovascular services at NCMC. “Last year was chilly, but patients came out in appreciation of the care they have been given.”

Holman said about 50 people attended in 2018.

Participants do not need to register. Those interested just show up and walk. The walking route is at 28th Avenue and 20th Street in Greeley. For more information, please call (970) 810-2583.
