New Service Line Growth and Development Vice President to join Banner Health
Kathy Kuhlenbeck will begin her journey with Banner Health beginning Feb. 11

PHOENIX (Jan. 11, 2019) – Banner Health has announced that Kathy Kuhlenbeck will begin her journey with the organization as its new vice president of Service Line Growth and Development, beginning Feb. 11. Kuhlenbeck will have responsibility for developing strategies that grow Banner Health’s key service line initiatives.  

“Kathy brings tremendous healthcare experience to this role, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to our Banner Health family,” said Scott Nordlund, Banner Health’s chief strategy and growth officer. “Kathy will be coming to us from her role as system vice president of strategy and business integration for SSM Health, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. She has been responsible for strategic planning, service line strategy development, as well as mergers and acquisitions support and integration, with an emphasis on growth and partnerships.”

Prior to healthcare, Kuhlenbeck’s professional experience includes terms as senior vice president of financial planning for Panera Bread, manufacturing division chief financial officer for Angelica (a health care manufacturing and marketing apparel company) as well as chief financial officer of Bachrach Clothing. She holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and a CPA designation.
