In-home assistance, Help-Full, available in the Northwest Valley
Pilot program open to those who have been a Banner Health patient

PHOENIX (Dec. 3rd, 2018) – Banner Health, in collaboration with Help-Full, has partnered on a project that aims to provide household assistance to individuals who have used Banner Health services living in the Northwest Valley. The service area to be served as part of the pilot study includes the Sun Cities, Peoria, El Mirage, and Surprise. The pilot program began in November and will run until April where community residents who have received Banner Health services are encouraged to participate.

Help-Full is a community network where members connect with each other to get and give practical help around the house and on-the-go, share their talents or learn a new skill, and enjoy favorite activities with others who share the same interests.

Community residents within the Help-Full network use time tokens in exchange for assistance with their desired needs. Time tokens can be used for any needed assistance (non-medical and non-personal care tasks) and are earned every time a member helps another member, whether it is sharing a skill or helping a fellow neighbor. Participants can also gift time tokens to a friend or donate time tokens to the Community Fund for members in need.

Applications are currently being accepted online at www.help-full.com/banner

As part of the six-month pilot, qualified members will receive a free background check, a Help-Full membership with Time Tokens members can use as they get started, and invitations to free member social events.

The pilot aims to address social determinants of health that lead to improved health, more quality of life, and reduced healthcare costs.
