Banner Health opens new cardiology, urology clinic serving children in the Southwest Valley

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (April 4, 2018) – Banner Health, the state’s leading provider of pediatric care, has opened a new pediatric clinic in Goodyear serving children in the Southwest Valley who require care from a heart or urology specialist.

The Banner Children’s Specialists’ Southwest Clinic, located at 14419 W. McDowell Road, Suite E102, is staffed by board-certified urologists and cardiologists and features on-site laboratory services. Physician referrals and self-referrals are currently being accepted at the new location.

Pediatric cardiology

Pediatric cardiologists Daniel Miga, MD, and Pankaj Jain, MD, are currently taking appointments at the new clinic at 480-412-6336. They have the capability within the clinic to perform, among other things, echocardiography and electrocardiograms (EKG).

Pediatric urology

Pediatric urologist Philip Gleason, MD, is also taking appointments at the clinic by calling 602-865-4441. Services available include circumcisions, urine analysis (urinalysis), ultrasounds and general physician consultations.

Elective surgeries beyond what the capabilities of the clinic will be performed at nearby Banner Estrella Medical Center or the Banner Estrella Surgery Center, located on the hospital’s campus at 9201 W. Thomas Road in Phoenix.
