GREELEY, Colo. (March 21, 2018) – Banner Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of three health care providers in Northern Colorado.

Physician assistant Amanda Gilmore, PA-C has joined the cardiothoracic team at the Cardiovascular Institute of North Colorado, 1801 15th St., Suite 310 in Greeley. Gilmore specializes in treating heart disease, lung disease as well as vascular conditions including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease and lung cancer.

Gilmore brings more than six years of experience to the Greeley community. Focused on putting the patient first, she provides inpatient and outpatient care for surgery patients and sees patients in the clinic.

“I always try and put myself in my patients’ shoes and meet them where they’re at in their health journey,” says Gilmore. “Cardiothoracic and vascular procedures are complicated, but I strive to ensure my patients understand the procedure so that they can be actively involved in their health care and make the best decision for them.”

Gilmore graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She relocated from Nebraska with her fiancé. In her free time, Gilmore and her fiancé enjoy being outside, hiking and camping with their two dogs. She also loves reading and is still part of a book club with her friends in Nebraska.

Physician assistant Laurie Janson, PA, started Feb. 1 at Banner Health Clinic, 2701 Madison Square Drive in Loveland.

Janson specializes in family medicine treating acute conditions, such as cold and flu, and chronic conditions including asthma, diabetes, and hypertension. She also provides preventative care and annual wellness visits for patients of all ages. She is especially passionate about women’s health.

She has more than 12 years of experience as a family medicine physician assistant, most recently at a private practice in Fort Collins. She graduated with her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Albany Medical College in New York. She enjoys the diversity of treating patients of all backgrounds and ages and creating ongoing patient connections.

“I believe in building long-term relationships with my patients and establishing a trusting provider-patient relationship,” says Janson. “I am looking forward to meeting new patients in the Loveland community and being able to provide them with excellent patient care.”

Janson relocated to Colorado with her husband three and a half years ago to be closer to family, and she enjoys the great outdoors. Along with their three dogs, Janson and her husband love to do anything outdoors: hiking, camping, fishing, photography and more.

Banner Medical Group also announced that Alyssa Klingbeil, NP, has joined the Wound Care Center at North Colorado Medical Center, 1801 16th St. in Greeley. Klingbeil, a nurse practitioner, started in January.

The NCMC Wound Care Center is a multi-specialty clinic offering treatments for healing a variety of wounds. Klingbeil specializes in the treatment of complex and non-healing wounds including those from surgery, infections, trauma, pressure injury, diabetes, peripheral vascular diseases and autoimmune disorders.

“I believe in empowering patients to actively participate in their care through education and shared decision making,” says Klingbeil. “Chronic wounds take a heavy toll on patients’ quality of life and I enjoy working with my patients to find a plan of care that is manageable for them, while also optimizing wound healing and preventing future medical complications.”

Klingbeil completed her advance practice training at John Hopkins University School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse practitioner with Transplant Surgery at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
