Join a Northern Colorado physician for a healthy walk and talk
These events are a great way to increase community engagement and to get people walking regularly.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Jan. 18, 2018) – Walking was recently recognized by the Surgeon General of the United
States as one of the most important things we can do for our health. Starting in January, Banner Health will host
free Walk with a Doc events in Fort Collins and Greeley to make health and wellness more accessible to Northern
Colorado residents.

“These events are a great way to increase community engagement and to get people walking regularly,” said
Roxane Conant, MPH, Community and Worksite Wellness senior manager for Banner Health. “We’d like to
encourage people throughout Northern Colorado to bring their friends and family to this month’s walk to start the
new year off healthy and gain some insight from local providers.”
