New physician joins Banner Health in Fort Morgan, Brush

BRUSH, Colo. (Sept. 12, 2017) — Banner Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Aline Coonrod, MD, to the family practice team at Banner Health Clinics in Brush and Fort Morgan.

Dr. Coonrod joins the staff after serving as a full-time faculty member and professor at North Colorado Family Medicine and University of Colorado School of Medicine, and part-time medical director for Hospice of Northern Colorado. She will continue in her role as assistant clinical professor for the University of Colorado after her move to Brush.

Dr. Coonrod will focus on full-spectrum family medicine with an emphasis in obstetrics. She will deliver babies at East Morgan County Hospital. Although Dr. Coonrod loves delivering babies, she is devoted to comprehensive health care to people and families of all ages, from injuries to chronic conditions, with further interest in pediatrics, teenagers and elder/end-of-life care.

“I’m so looking forward to relocating back to a smaller town to practice medicine and joining the exceptional team in Brush and Fort Morgan,” said Coonrod. “This new role provides me the opportunity to get to know my patients better and become a part of the community.”

Dr. Coonrod graduated from medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed her family medicine residency at North Colorado Family Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

She will see patients at Banner Health Clinic, 2400 Edison St. in Brush and Banner Health Clinic at 909 E. Railroad Ave. in Fort Morgan.
