PHOENIX (May 10, 2018) – Banner Health has opened two new urgent-care sites dedicated to pediatric care. These new Banner Children’s Urgent Care locations offer highly convenient, extended-hours care to ensure your children have access to excellent care, even when their pediatrician’s office is closed.

Like our more traditional Banner Urgent Care clinic locations, Banner Children’s Urgent Care centers will be walk-in facilities.

Banner Children’s Urgent Care offers treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses, minor injuries, physical exams, screenings and some diagnostic testing. It will also offer on-site X-ray and pharmacy services. Our board-certified pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners can treat your child for issues such as eye, ear, nose or throat infections, fever, respiratory problems, stomach problems, skin complaints or lacerations.

Both Banner Children’s Urgent Care locations are open seven days a week and accept most insurance plans.

“We are pleased to offer this service to parents and their children as a way to make health care easier and life better because we know that kids don’t always get sick during business hours,’’ Rob Rohatsch, MD, CEO of Banner Urgent Care and Occupational Health Services. “We’re striving to provide our communities with the best care from a trusted, well-known health network.’’
