GLENDALE, Ariz. (Dec. 28, 2017) -- Last year, two Arizona babes entered the world with much fanfare: Sawyer Shay was born at 11:50 pm in 2016 and Everett Shay was born at 12:01 am in 2017. Twin brothers born minutes apart, but in two different years at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale.

Today parents Holly and Brandon Shay say the boys are developing right on schedule, and with very different personalities. Sawyer walks for the duo and Everett is the talker. They both love to eat mac and cheese.

These boys were born healthy, with mom carrying them to an impressive 37 weeks into pregnancy. Sawyer, was 5 lbs 5 oz at birth, and is now 22 lbs. And Everett, who started at 4 lbs 8 oz, today weighs in at 21 lbs.

This extraordinary birth story was covered by local, national and international news organizations.

Catch up with the boys, big sister Charlie Grace and their busy parents to learn about their plans for New Year’s Eve 2018, and their first double birthday.
