SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. (Feb. 8, 2018) – In commemoration of Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center’s 30^th anniversary, CEO Debbie Flores will unveil a memory wall Monday that highlights milestones and memories from the hospital’s three decades of service to the community.

The 42-foot-long display features key milestones in the hospital’s history, as well as personal memories from employees at the hospital who have served since opening day on Jan. 4, 1988. In addition, the longest serving physician and volunteer, who have also served since opening day, have memories featured in the display.

“There isn’t enough wall space in our entire hospital to feature every milestone we’ve achieved,” said Flores, who has served as Webb’s CEO since 2012. “A lot of positive things have happened on this campus over the past 30 years.

“However, one thing hasn’t changed – the deeply held commitment by our employees, physicians and volunteers to provide the best possible care,” she said. “I’m grateful to each and every one of them for the medical excellence and compassionate care they’ve demonstrated over past three decades.”

Flores will host a brief ceremony to unveil the memory wall at 7:30 a.m. on Monday at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, 14502 W. Meeker Blvd. in Sun City West for invited guests. Members of the media interested in covering the unveiling are asked to meet in the East Lobby of the hospital by 7:15 a.m. Due to space limitations, this event is not open to the public.
