PHOENIX (March 7, 2018) – Banner -- University Family Care, part of Banner -- University Health Plans, has been selected to help serve 1.5 million Medicaid members in Arizona.

The contract, which will align all physical and behavioral health services under a single plan, was announced by the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) earlier this week.

Banner -- University Family Care was one of seven integrated managed care organizations selected to provide care as part of the $50 billion AHCCCS Complete Care contact.

Banner – University Family Care will coordinate physical and behavioral health services for the 10 counties, including Maricopa and Pima counties.

The AHCCCS Complete Care contract goes into effect Oct. 1, 2018.
