Day of Dance offers heart-beating, feet-tapping, finger-snapping fun

Loveland, Colo. – A community health fair with a twist, the annual Loveland Day of Dance For Your Health returns on Saturday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Chilson Senior Center. Located at 700 E. Fourth St., the health fair is free and open to the public.

Sponsored by McKee Medical CenterMcKee Medical Center Foundation and Spirit of Women, the family-friendly event offers participants an opportunity to learn more about their health while also enjoying the benefits of movement and exercise.

“After overhauling the format of the community health fair two years ago and combining it with the Spirit of Women Day of Dance, we’ve seen tremendous success,” said Sheryl Fahrenbruch, Spirit of Women, Outreach Program Manager. “Families have really appreciated more of a hands-on approach that not only tells them how to be healthy but shows them through live demos and interactive games.”

In addition to dance lessons, the event will feature vendors, health education, selected health screenings as well as games and activities the whole family will enjoy. The first 100 kids will also get a free pass to the Chilson Recreation Center. For more information, call (970) 820-3000.
