Banner MD Anderson physicians to discuss cancer on Rare Disease Day on Feb. 28

GILBERT, Arizona -- Several physicians from Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center will discuss new treatments and other aspects involving neuroendocrine cancer, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Banner Gateway Medical Center, 1900 N. Higley Road.

Medical experts will discuss treatment options, signs and symptoms, and early diagnosis opportunities. Banner MD Anderson is one of only a few sites in the Southwest now offering a clinical trial for this rare type of cancer.

The event, which takes place on Rare Disease Day, is organized by the Arizona Carcinoid and Neuroendocrine Foundation. Registration is required. To register, click here or call 520-762-6757.
