BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED

Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Customers in Parts of Clarks Green and South Abington Township

SCRANTON, Pa. (April 21, 2026) Pennsylvania American Water announced that the boil water advisory for customers in Clarks Green and South Abington Township has been lifted. Customers were notified on April 19, 2026, of the loss of positive water pressure, resulting in the issuance of the boil water advisory. We are pleased to report that the issue has been resolved.

This notice applies to customers along the following streets in Clarks Green and South Abington Township:

  • Fairview Road
  • North Abington Road
  • Old Orchard Road
  • Greenbriar Drive
  • Belmont Avenue
  • Brighton Drive
  • Grayson Drive
  • Vassar Avenue
  • Yale Boulevard
  • Cornell Avenue
  • Bucknell Drive
  • Lewis Lane
  • Starlight Drive
  • Sterling Road
  • Autumn Circle
  • Birch Hill Drive
  • Simerell Road
  • Stevenson Road
  • Abbey Drive
  • Hampton Drive
  • Crossgate Drive
  • Gatepost Lane
  • Possum Way
  • Rabbit Run
  • Pine View Circle
  • Squirrel Run
  • Venard Road
  • Pheasant Run
  • Cardinal Lane
  • Fox Hill Road
  • Quail Hollow Drive

Samples were collected on April 19 and 20 with acceptable test results received on April 21, 2026. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory.
