Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Pennsylvania American Water’s Pine Ridge System in Bushkill
Scranton, Pa. (Feb. 14, 2026) – Pennsylvania American Water announced this afternoon that the boil water advisory for customers in the Pine Ridge system in Bushkill has been lifted. Customers were notified on Feb. 11, 2026, of the loss of positive water pressure, resulting in the issuance of the boil water advisory. We are pleased to report that the current issue has been resolved.
This notice applies to approximately 1000 customer connections in the Pine Ridge system.
Samples were collected on Feb. 12, 2026, and Feb. 13, 2026, with acceptable test results received on Feb. 14, 2026. The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory.
