Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Customers on Hill, Sandy Hill and Telegraph roads in West Caln Township

COATESVILLE, Pa. (Nov. 2, 2025) - Pennsylvania American Water announced this evening that the boil water advisory for customers on Hill, Sandy Hill and Telegraph roads in West Caln Township has been lifted. Customers were notified on Oct 31, 2025, that the failure of the pump control system for our Hill Road tank resulted in a loss of positive water pressure and the existence of conditions that could allow contamination to enter the distribution system through back-flow by back pressure or back siphonage.

This notice applies to a population of approximately 65 customer connections the streets noted above.

Acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, 2025, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory. Pennsylvania American Water thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this event.

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.

This notice is being sent to you by Pennsylvania American Water.
