Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Customers in Frackville

SCRANTON, Pa. (October 26, 2025) Pennsylvania American Water announced this morning that the boil water advisory for customers in Frackville has been lifted. Customers were notified on October 24 of a main break causing low pressure, resulting in the issuance of the boil water advisory. We are pleased to report that the issue has been resolved.

This notice applies to a customer population of approximately 975 along the following streets Frackville:

  • South Line Street
  • Willow Street
  • Morea Road
  • Back Alley
  • South Wylan Street
  • East Walnut Street
  • North Bell Street
  • South Bell Street
  • East Oak Street
  • South Broad Mountain Avenue
  • North Spencer Street

  • East Pine Street
  • Railroad Avenue
  • Gold Star Avenue
  • Balliet Street
  • North Nice Street
  • North Beech Street
  • North Center Street
  • North Second Street
  • Hickory Street
  • West Walnut Street
  • West John Street
  • 3rd Street
  • Stevens Street
  • Elm Street
  • North 7th Street
  • North 8th Street
  • North 9th Street
  • Lotus Alley
  • South Middle Street

Acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on October 24 and 25, and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection has authorized lifting the advisory.
