Customers and community members can bring nonperishable food items to Ameris locations through November 30
ATLANTA, Oct. 24, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Ameris Bank announced today that is has continued its annual Helping Fight Hunger food drive for the 14th consecutive year.
The campaign allows customers and the general public to bring nonperishable food items to any branch location to participate in the effort, now through November 30.
"With rising inflation and food prices, more people are relying on the support of food banks," said Palmer Proctor, CEO of Ameris Bank. "I'm proud of our teammates who organize these efforts and community members who donate across our markets so that we can help to stock their shelves, especially heading into the colder months and holiday season."
Each Ameris location will donate food collected to a local food bank.
