Media Advisory - Pre-Flight Briefing for Air Canada's Greenest Flight Ever

TORONTO, June 12, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Air Canada, with the support of Airbus, will operate its most environmentally-friendly flight ever on Monday, June 18, using the most up-to-date methods to reduce emissions, including sustainable biofuel to power the aircraft. Media are invited to a pre-flight briefing with Raymond Benjamin, Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization, and officials from Air Canada and Airbus. Air Canada flight AC991, an Airbus A319 from Toronto to Mexico City, will be the greenest flight ever flown by Air Canada under the aegis of ICAO's "Flightpath to Sustainability" biofuel initiative for the Rio +20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development.
