‘The Perfect Scam’ Podcast Releases New Episodes
AARP Series Features Compelling Stories from Scam Victims and Con Artists
The Perfect Scam provides listeners with insights into how scams are perpetrated, told through compelling personal stories of victims, con artists and investigators, and provides fraud-fighting tips from trusted experts.

WASHINGTONAARP today released the first in a series of new episodes of its popular podcast The Perfect ScamSM, featuring stories from real scam victims and fraud prevention tips. The episode available online today is part one of a two-part series about online romance scams, “Prince Charming Behind Bars.” New installments will be unveiled every Friday, through May 31.

The Perfect Scam is available: at www.aarp.org/ThePerfectScam; on select podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts, GooglePlay, Spotify, Stitcher and TuneIn; and via smart speakers Amazon Echo and Google Home.  The series is available free -- AARP membership is not required to download or listen to the episodes.

Hosted by Will Johnson and AARP Fraud Watch Network Ambassador Frank Abagnale, The Perfect Scam podcast launched in April 2018. AARP produced 24 episodes of the series during 2018. Each episode is approximately 30 minutes long.
