Scottie Scheffler commits to 2026 3M Open
May 4, 2026

Scottie Scheffler, the world’s No. 1-ranked golfer, will compete in the 2026 3M Open.

The event runs July 20-26 at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. It will be Scheffler's first appearance at Minnesota's only PGA TOUR event.

"I'm looking forward to playing the 3M Open for the first time," Scheffler said. "I've heard great things about the event and I'm excited to get to Minnesota and compete at TPC Twin Cities."

Scheffler’s historic record

Scheffler has 20 PGA TOUR victories, including four major championships: the Masters in 2022 and 2024, the PGA Championship in 2025 and the Open Championship in 2025. He has held the No. 1 spot in the Official World Golf Ranking for 155 consecutive weeks.

Milestone moment for the 3M Open

The 3M Open debuted in 2019 and supports local initiatives across Minnesota through the 3M Open Fund. Scheffler's commitment expands the tournament's reach and visibility for the causes it supports.

"Scottie's commitment to the 3M Open is a milestone for this tournament and our partnership with the PGA TOUR," said Kady Stoll, vice president of partnerships at 3M. "His participation reflects the experience we want to deliver for fans, players and the communities we support."
