CamelBak Keeps Pros and Fans Hydrated During Ten Days of Epic Mountain Bike Competition

PETALUMA, Calif, – Beginning on Aug. 12, CamelBak will take to Whistler Mountain for 10 nonstop days supporting world class mountain bike riders and fans at Crankworx Whistler. CamelBak will be there every step of the way as the best of the best compete for Crankworx Whistler titles in four mountain bike disciplines, with hydration, competition and access to world-class athletes for all.

Mountain-Side Hydration Stations

CamelBak will help fuel the Crankworx competition with hydration stations available for riders and fans to enjoy free, freshly filtered water throughout Whistler Village. Fans on-site at Crankworx Whistler, can be entered to win CamelBak product by uploading a photo of themselves at one of the CamelBak hydration stations to the CamelBak Canada Facebook page or on Instagram with the hashtag #CamelBakWhistler.

CamelBak Presents: SRAM Canadian Open Challenger Enduro

The iconic event and epic riding have you inspired? The SRAM Canadian Open Challenger Enduro presented by CamelBak will bring three stages of enduro action on some of the best single-track, technical terrain in the world to this year’s Crankworx Whistler. Winners of each category will be recognized for their mastery with a CamelBak gear prize pack.

Team CamelBak Takes to the Hill

CamelBak will host meet and greet signing sessions with CamelBak sponsored riders Remy Metailler and Sam Reynolds during the Crankworx festivities in Whistler Village. Reynolds,winner of ‘Best Trick’ from last year’s Red Bull Rampage and Metailler, one of Whistler’s most experienced pro-riders, will meet fans and sign autographs in the CamelBak booth located in Zone 6 during the second weekend of Crankworx Whistler.

Saturday, Aug. 20 – Sam Reynolds, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 20 – Remy Metailler, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.

“The adrenaline from racing an iconic course, like Crankworx Whistler, against the world’s best talent is unmatched,” said CamelBak sponsored rider Remy Metailler. “And more than that, I love that for 10 days riders across disciplines and even generations come together to ride and have fun. This is definitely an event you won’t want to miss if you love riding mountain bikes.”

In addition to Metailler and Reynolds, CamelBak sponsored riders including 2013 Queen of Crankworx, Tracey Hannah, Andrew Neething and Fabien ‘Cous Cous’ Cousinie will also compete in Crankworx Whistler.

2017 CamelBak Product Makes Public Canadian Debut

CamelBak’s 2017 product line will make its Canadian public debut in the official CamelBak booth at Crankworx Whistler. Mountain bike gear including the K.U.D.U. 8 pack and new line of low rider packs including the M.U.L.E. Low Rider will be on display. All packs in the 2017 collection come standard with the new Crux reservoir, offering 20 percent more water per sip for even better hydration and even bigger adventures.
