TripAdvisor Announces Attractions Trend Index Of The Top Trending Things To Do In The UK
Ornamental Gardens in Dorset, A York Castle and Peak District Scenic Walk Among Top 10 Increasingly Popular UK Attractions During Autumn Months

TripAdvisor®, the travel planning and booking site, today announces the results of its Attractions Trend Index, revealing the top 10 UK attractions that have seen the greatest increase in traveller interest this Autumn, based on year-over-year search activity on TripAdvisor.

“The Attractions Trend Index reveals those places that have seen the biggest increase in interest for UK travellers year over year and should provide plenty of inspiration for parents looking for things to book over the Autumn half-term,” said TripAdvisor spokesperson, Hayley Coleman.

Compton Acres, Poole, Dorset

Compton Acres consists of 10 acres of ornamental gardens. There are five main themed gardens to explore: Italian, Wooded Valley, Rock and Water, Heather and Japanese.

The garden was started in 1920 when Thomas Simpson purchased the site including the mansion and set about creating a series of themed gardens to reflect his overseas travels, with the help of Mr Middleton, the Head Gardener. Adult tickets are priced at £8.45 each
