DISH issued the following statement on introduction of the Venue Equity and Non-Uniformity Elimination Act:

“DISH applauds Senators Gardner, Flake, and Lee for introducing the Venue Equity and Non-Uniformity Elimination Act, which seeks to ensure the proper venue for patent infringement suits.  The legislation, if passed, will help protect innovators from the growing problem of patent trolls."
