Brent Gale

As Senior Vice President of Broadcast and Spacecraft Operations, Brent Gale oversees the day-to-day operations of our dish satellite fleet as well as engineering and broadcast modernization. 
 

Brent has been with DISH since 1982—one of the first team members to join the company. He has led the design, construction and staffing of the Cheyenne and Gilbert Broadcast Centers, four regional uplinks and weather diversity sites, as well as the state-of-the-art data centers in Cheyenne and Gilbert.
 

Prior to DISH, Brent served in the United States Air Force. He has co-authored five satellite-related books including topics like Ku-band theory, satellite, and cable television scrambling and descrambling. Two of which have also been translated into both Spanish and Portuguese.
 

Brent and his wife Lucy have been married for 35 years, and have 8 children and 12 grandchildren. In his spare time, Brent enjoys the outdoors and photography.
