Cigna Names Debbie McKee President of Medicare Advantage Plans in Tennessee, Arkansas

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – September 23, 2021– Global health service company Cigna (NYSE:CI) has named Debbie McKee president of its Medicare Advantage (MA) plans in Tennessee and Arkansas.

“Cigna has been aggressively growing its MA business across the country over the past three years, adding geography and new plans to serve more people eligible for Medicare,” said Debra Smith, vice president for the southeast region of Cigna's Medicare business. “We’re very pleased to have Debbie come on board during such an exciting time to help us to continue this trajectory.”

McKee has been with Cigna since 2018, previously serving as regional vice president of MA sales in the southeast region. She brings more than a decade of Medicare experience to her new role, including a proven track record of working closely with providers to improve customer health, well-being and peace of mind.

McKee holds her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center and an executive master’s degree in health care leadership from Brown University.

Expanded Medicare Advantage Offerings

MA plans are growing in popularity with those who qualify for Medicare because they combine Medicare Parts A and B in one convenient plan that often includes Part D drug coverage and additional benefits, such as vision, dental, hearing, transportation preventative care, and fitness benefits, sometimes at no extra cost.

Cigna offers MA plans in most Tennessee counties as well as in 30 counties in Arkansas, primarily in the northern and central parts of that state.

Cigna offers a $0 premium plan in all MA markets. Cigna also offers Medicare Supplement and Prescription Drug Plans all across these states. To learn more about Cigna Medicare, visit www.cigna.com/medicare.
