PUNE, 12 December 2009 — BNY Mellon, the global leader in asset management and securities servicing, celebrated its fifth anniversary in Pune today with a thank-you picnic and awards ceremony for employees and invited guests at the Chokhi Dhani.

BNY Mellon established an operations centre in Pune in December 2004 to provide world class support and services to the company's global businesses. Today, BNY Mellon employs over 1,800 well-trained permanent operations professionals in Pune performing a wide-range of financial services processes for BNY Mellon's asset servicing, asset management, wealth management, financial markets and treasury services and other global businesses. All employees are based in Magarpatta City, Pune, giving the company a significant presence in one of the world's most rapidly growing markets.
