JERSEY CITY, N.J., Nov. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- BNY Mellon's Pershing today announced an agreement with Renaissance Philanthropic Solutions Group (RenPSG), increasing the total number of donor-advised funds on Pershing's Philanthropic Solutions platform to three.  The addition of RenPSG will provide Pershing clients with access to a broader menu of philanthropic solutions, including new services such as a branded website program and administration for charitable trusts, helping them better serve the fast-growing charitable giving market.

"Our goal is to support our clients' growth in this important market. RenPSG, with its full menu of gift administration services, delivers Pershing-affiliated financial professionals more options and flexibility to help drive deeper client engagement and growth."

RenPSG's full-service administration capabilities, which are now available to Pershing clients, include: accounting support, grant due diligence and distribution, consulting on creation and execution of charitable gifts, tax expertise and IRS compliance for charitable gifts, as well as shared marketing best practices to grow giving programs.

Further, Pershing clients using RenPSG capabilities can customize RenPSG's DonorFirstX platform, which can be branded to their organization's standards, and access a charitable trust offering that will help investors manage their charitable contributions.

"We are very excited to be working with Pershing and their affiliated financial professionals," said Kevin McGrath, Executive Vice President of Client Advancement at RenPSG. "Our open architecture platform not only allows financial advisors to manage all of their clients' philanthropic assets, it also opens the door to firms having their own white-label donor-advised fund platform. We are pleased to bring these capabilities to Pershing clients."

RenPSG joins Pershing's existing donor-advised solutions, adding to the firm's growing set of philanthropy offerings.
