Susan L. Sgroi Welcomed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

 

BOSTON — January 16, 2015 — Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Cross) recently welcomed Susan Sgroi as its new Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness. Sgroi will oversee the Human Resources function and focus on fostering a culture of continuous improvement that will enable Blue Cross to excel in a rapidly evolving health care market.

Sgroi formerly led the human resources function for the asset management division of Fidelity Investments. She brings more than 25 years of experience both nationally and internationally across a variety of human resources disciplines, with a proven track record of aligning strategic and business goals with organizational and workforce strategies.

Sgroi holds a master's degree in organizational development from American University and a bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College. She serves on the St. Francis House board of directors, the largest day shelter for the homeless in Boston.
